WorldSkills South Africa (WSZA) Mobile Robotics Provincial Competitions

The WorldSkills South Africa (WSZA) will be having its Mobile Robotics Combined Provincial Competitions in Lephalale TVET College from the 07th - 10th October 2023. the first 3 days will be focused on training and the last day will be the actual Mobile Robotics competition. a total of six provinces has entered for this competition. This is a team Skill where competitors are trained and compete in pairs. A total of 42 Competitors will be put through a Test Project of which 70% pass rate will qualify them to compete in the WSZA National Competitions to be held in February 2024.

WorldSkills South Africa (WSZA) National Competitions

WorldSkills South Africa (WSZA) National Competitions has three levels, the local Heats, Provincial and National Competitions Level. WSZA is a member of the WorldSkills international organization that promotes vocational skills and education through competitions. The Provincial competitions showcase the abilities of skilled professionals and students across the 24 Skill Areas from all provinces of the country. The WSZA has introduced the point system whereby all competitors who obtain 70% would be eligible to compete in the National Competition Level depending on the number of competitors who qualified for this level per skill area and the venue where the National Competitions will be hosted.
